Musty Mitts. A Cleaning Nightmare
These mittens are TERRIBLE! The issues are many... 1. They hard Very hard to put on! The thumbs come out constantly and the thumb hole is too small, so it's hard for my daughter to get her hands in and even harder for me to get my adult sized hands in to fix it. 2. The elastic wrists DO NOT keep snow out, therefore it gets wet inside the mittens. If I had full control over my daughter putting them on, so they were under her coat arms, then it would probably not be an issue. However, when she is at school,they do not do this for her. Perhaps if these were zippered it would be less of an issue... 3. When they get wet inside.. which is everytime she wears them, they are VERY DIFFICULT TO DRY! Even when they are turned inside out and put in the dryer. Then they get musty and disgusting. All in all, poor design and lack of insight into their user audience is what causes a massive waste of their materials and your money. Don't buy these!

We have three pairs of these mittens. Our son loves how they go over his cuffs and keep the snow out. We’ve bought a new pair every year for the last three winters. This will be the last year for the oldest pair. They are sooo warm, even on the coldest days, my sons hands get sweaty inside. I think that is a great problem to have. As soon as he comes in we turn them inside out and put them on a dryer over the register. While the first pair dries we use the second and so on. As long as they get turned inside out and put on the dryer at the end of the day, all are ready to roll the next morning.
